Audubon's Conservation Ranching Initiative works with land owners who participate in the enhancement and preservation of critical grassland habitats. Audubon Dakota also helps land owners apply grazing practices that keep thriving populations of grassland birds as a top priority and develop market-based solutions to build economic incentives that benefit landowners, consumers and the environment.

Beef from Audubon-certified lands can be easily purchased through online retailers that source from ranches in the Dakotas, as well as local grocey stores, restaurants, and directly from the ranches themselves!
