Catherine Worley

Catherine is the Senior Coordinator of Center Operations; serving as Rowe’s volunteer coordinator, facilities rental program manager, Nature Store co-manager, and helps plan development-focused events. Her work touches everything that Rowe does, and she loves getting to meet and visit with guests from around the world.

Catherine grew up in Houston, Texas, and has a B.S. in Ecology and Evolution from Trinity University. She has experience in prairie restoration, vegetation, and pollinator monitoring from working with the Texas Conservation Corps and Monarch Joint Venture. 

Conservation Influence:

I grew up camping, hiking, and exploring the outdoors with family in Texas and Colorado.

Favorite Bird:

It changes all the time! As a kid, I adored puffins (even having only seen them in books). I’m more of a plant and pollinator person today, but I do adore watching the behavior of the white- and red-breasted nuthatches we see in Nebraska.
