As Center Director, Stoltzfus manages wildlife conservation and habitat management, visitor experience, community outreach, education programs, and the Center’s full-time staff.
Marcos has spent his career with organizations dedicated to conservation, environmental education, and science education. His professional experience includes zoo, museum, higher education, and nature center settings. Prior to joining Audubon, he was the Assistant Executive Director and Director of Environmental Education Outreach at Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center of Goshen College for more than seven years. In addition, he served as faculty member, instructing graduate courses in Environmental Education at Goshen College. Marcos is passionate about sharing the wonders of the natural world with others and equipping organizations to reach their full potential.
Marcos graduated from Goshen College with majors in Biology and Environmental Studies, and completed a Masters in Nonprofit Management from Hamline University.
Although new to Rowe, he has family nearby and has visited the area regularly for the last 15 years.
