34th Annual Spring Honor Dance & Powwow Celebration
In partnership with Minot State University, Audubon Great Plains is honored to celebrate the dedication of the land as Plum River Native Prairie Grassland, formerly hosting Erik Ramstad School. Plum River Native Grassland will be enrolled as an Urban Woods and Prairie Nature Park during the Annual Pow Wow Celebration.
Through this initiative, woodland and wetland enhancement practices are utilized to provide high quality habitat for our local bird and wildlife species, while also encouraging community members to explore and learn about our local native ecosystem. Whether you love to bird, hike, or just enjoy being in nature, UWP Initiative nature parks are open to the public and all are encouraged to explore!
