Conservation Influence:

Birds are a great window into the many amazing connections and processes happening in the natural world. There is such a staggering amount of biodiversity in so many different ecosystems that we’ve only just begun to understand. I’ve always found a great sense of peace and wonder in the outdoors, and I consider myself very fortunate to have a career that focuses on environmental conservation.

Favorite Bird:

An extremely difficult question! Blackpoll Warbler ranks among my favorites because of their incredible long-distance migrations. Truly amazing that a bird so small can cover so much distance in a year.
