Flyways
A mix of eastern and western birds of the Central Flyway make Nebraska a special birding stop.
Nebraska lies in the Central Flyway, and is most famous as the "bottleneck," where in the spring millions of migrating birds -- sandhill and whooping cranes, geese, ducks, and more -- stop to refuel on their northward migration.
